Summary
Comparisons made between PDGF null mouse phenotypes suggest a general role for PDGFs in the development of myofibroblasts, and endothelial cells of the sprouting capillaries in the mutant mice appeared to be unable to attract PDGF-Rbeta-positive pericyte progenitor cells.
