Summary
It is demonstrated that hOATI plays a critical role in the organ-specific toxicity of adefovir and cidofovir, and indicates that CHOh OAT cells may represent a useful in vitro model to investigate the potential nephrotoxicity of clinically relevant organic anion agents.
