Summary
The discovery of multiple nuclear localization signals (NLSs) and nuclear export signals (NESs) in Nrf2 suggests that the nucleocytoplasm translocation of transcription factors is the consequence of a dynamic equilibrium of multivalent NLSs and NESs.
