Why do they Resist? - An Empirical Analysis of an Individual's Personality Trait Resistance regarding the Adoption of New Information Systems

Summary
The data analysis of 199 research participants who declared that they do not want to use a particular information system in future shows that the personality trait resistance modeled with the four dimensions routine seeking, emotional reaction, short-term focus and cognitive rigidity has significant impacts on an individual’s attitude towards an information system.
