Summary

Analysis of Rothmund -Thomson syndrome kindreds and probands showed GAGE cluster inheritance and stability indistinguishable from that found in non-RTS individuals, which support the concept of evolutionarily rapid rearrangement of clustered repetitive sequences in the human genome.
