Summary
Treatment with retinoids can modulate Th17-mediated autoimmunity: experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE), the murine model of multiple sclerosis (MS), is ameliorated by ATRA administration due to suppression of both the differentiation and the function of Th17 cells.
