Summary

Whether PS labelling and detergent lysis approaches are confounded by lipoproteins, another family of lipid‐based nanoparticles found in blood, is investigated and the use of transmembrane proteins such as tetraspannins to distinguish EVs from lipoprotein‐bound PS is supported.
