Summary
In type 1 diabetes, sotagliflozin improves glycaemic and non-glycaemic outcomes and reduces hypoglycaemia rate and severe hypoglyCAemia, and the risk of diabetic ketoacidosis could be minimised by appropriate patient selection and down-titration of the basal insulin dose.
