Summary

It is shown that senescence-associated secretory phenotype (SASP) has crucial roles in promoting obesity-associated hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) development in mice, and a similar pathway may contribute to at least certain aspects of obesity- associated HCC development in humans as well.
