Summary
The selection frequencies of cefepime, ceftazidime, and cefotaxime resistance among Pseudomonas aeruginosa strains were determined and Selected mutants resistant to cefEPime constitutively produced 40- to 450-fold more beta-lactamase than did the parent strain.
