Summary
A DUB-resistant ubiquitin mutant is generated that is recalcitrant to cleavage by various families of DUBs both in vitro and in mammalian cells, validating the DUB-resistant ubiquitin expression system as a valuable tool to interrogate cell signaling pathways.
