These findings provide additional evidence that tachykinin-like peptides play a major role in the bronchoconstrictor response produced by transmitter secretion from peripheral endings of capsaicin-sensitive afferents in guinea-pig bronchi evoked either by Capsaicin or by electrical field stimulation.
