Summary
A “coated” vesicle type has been found in neurosecretory axon terminals of the crustacean sinus gland, in addition to the previously described dense-cored granules and “synaptic”vesicles, suggesting origin of one or both vesicles types from the plasma membrane by micropinocytosis.
