Summary
Secretion of HGF, in concert with cell‐associated cytokines such as G‐CSF, may account for the stem cell‐stimulating activities of osteogenic cells and, thereby, the unique stem cell-supporting role of the osteoblasts within the bone marrow microenvironment.
