The FcR on microglia and perivascular macrophages may be of functional importance in antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC), phagocytosis, and local immunoregulation, and F cR on endothelium May be of importance in binding and transportation of immune complexes into the CNS.
