Summary
It is shown that the ubiquitin ligases Smad ubiquitination regulatory factor‐1 (Smurf1) and Smurf2 are essential for neurite growth and neuronal polarity, respectively, and regulate the GTPases Rho and Rap1B in hippocampal neurons.
