Summary

The ability of exogenously administered estrone sulfate to stimulate growth of a carcinogeninduced, hormone‐dependent rat mammary tumor is examined and the rate of conversion of estrone sulphate to free estrone and estradiol is measured to support the possibility that estron sulfate may serve as an important source of tumor tissue est radiol.
