Summary
The angiogenic, antihypercholesterolemic, and antidiabetic effects of resveratrol and the mechanisms involved in reduced ventricular remodeling and increased cardiac functions are reported and different strategic target molecules involved in resver atrol-mediated cardioprotection are shown.
