Summary
Serial positron emission tomography studies are best suited to repeatedly and non-invasively demonstrate circulatory and biochemical changes by surgical interventions in normal brain tissue for at least one day to further justify the development of rational therapeutic strategies for decompressive hemicraniectomy.
