Summary
This study aimed to improve rhodymenialean systematics by increasing taxonomic representation and using a more robust multigene dataset of mitochondrial, nuclear, and plastid markers (psbA, rbcL) and prevent phylogenetic inference problems associated with substitution saturation (particularly at the interfamilial nodes).
