Summary
Third-order time-dependent perturbation theory, utilizing parabolic and nonparabolic energy bands and calculated (from band structure) higher bands as intermediate levels, and a Keldysh first-order model are used to calculate three-photon-absorption coefficients of several direct-gap crystals.
