Summary
Zyxin exhibits a functional nuclear export signal that is required to keep zyxin concentrated in the cytoplasm and is sufficient to direct nuclear proteins to the cytosol and is demonstrated to shuttles between the nucleus and sites of cell adhesion in fibroblasts.
