Summary
Quality of education, as measured by reading level, moderated the relationship between cerebrovascular pathology—in the form of WMH—and cognition, however, this relationship was observed primarily among non-Hispanics, indicating that greater quality of education conferred reserve from the negative effect ofWMH on memory and language abilities.
