Summary
It is shown that a guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) for Rho family GTPases (Arhgef5) is crucial for Src-induced podosome formation, and novel insights are provided into the molecular mechanisms of podosomes and invadopodium formation induced by Src upregulation.
