Summary
The structure of the intermolecular complex containing one phenobarbital and two 8-bromo-9-ethyladenine molecules is reported, which finds that one adenine derivative is hydrogen-bonded to the barbiturate ring using the same bonds found between theadenine and thymine pair in the double-helical form of DNA.
