Summary

The catastrophic APS is an uncommon but potentially life-threatening condition that needs high clinical awareness and the therapeutical connotation is that this may be corrected with the combination of anticoagulation plus steroids plus attempts at achieving a prompt reduction of antiphospholipid antibody titer.
