Summary

A maximum likelihood (ML) method was used to examine hybridization and introgression in mixed populations of black oaks, manzanitas, and irises and indicated that the putative hybrid oaks were all F, hybrids, which resulted from asymmetric density-dependent gene flow by pollen.
