Summary
In order to understand the physiological roles of vasoactive intestinal contractor (VIC)/endothelin-2 (ET-2), the expression of this peptide by specific reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) analysis and found that PC12 rat pheochromocytoma cells express the VIC gene.
