Summary

The NF1C is demonstrated to be a highly specific for Ras and does not activate either Rap1 or Rho GTPases, and it is shown that Gln at position 61 of the GTPase primarily determines that NF1 C as well as GAP1C activates Ras GTPased, but not Rap1 GTPasing.
