Summary

Assessment of PVF may effectively contribute to the characterization of patients with LV dysfunction and to the prediction of their outcome, and Multivariate Cox proportional-hazards analysis revealed that advanced New York Heart Association class, male gender, and older age were independent predictors of mortality.
