Summary
A modification of resonance amplitudes is proposed that takes into account violent inner-shell processes accompanied by correlated multielectron transitions, and implications on future calculations and on other related processes, such as photoionization plus Auger ionization, excitation-autoionization, multiple ionsization, and similar processes in ion-atom collisions.
