Summary
Small and large size, eloquent location, deep venous drainage, and complex vascular anatomy requiring multiple embolization procedures are risk factors for the development of immediate postembolization neurological deficits Nevertheless, a significant number of patients with treatment-related neurological deficits improve over time.
