Summary

Results indicate that MCD has a beneficial effect on the degradation rates of TNT, and relative improvement of TNT degradation rate in presence of high amounts of hydroxyl radical scavengers can be ascribed to the formation of a ternary complex (TNT-cyclodextrin-iron) which can direct hydroxym radical reaction toward TNT.
