Summary
Evidence of colocalization of DA and NT in the DA neurons that innervate the rat prefrontal cortex is described and an analysis of the role of NA neurons on the regulation of the cortical DA DI receptors postsynaptic to these mixed DA-NT mesocortical neurons is presented.
