Summary
An increase in total phenolic steroid excretion was shown in menopausal patients with endometrial carcinoma and the number of phenolic steroids determined by thin-layer chromatography was increased, providing a basis for interpreting endometrian carcinoma as a disease connected with hypothalamopituitary hyperactivity.
