Summary

Functional analysis of an Arabidopsis Chromodomain/Helicase/DNA-binding 1 (CHD1) type chromatin remodeling gene known as CHR5 and a histone demethylase gene that specifically removes methyl groups from methylated histone H3 lysine 4 (H3K4me), called JMJ15, suggests that increased J MJ15 levels may regulate the gene expression program that may coordinate plant growth restrains and enhances stress tolerance.
