Summary
Fenofibrate is an effective and safe agent in the treatment of type IV/V hyperlipoproteinemia and shows statistically significant reductions in levels of total cholesterol, very-low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, total triglycerides, and very- low-densitylipoprotein triglycerides.
