Summary
It is found that a brief duration of visual deprivation in adult mice can trigger functional plasticity of thalamocortical and intracortical circuits in the primary auditory cortex suggesting improved sound processing, and it is found that DE enhanced auditory performance in low and mid frequencies over time compared to the control.
