It is demonstrated that additive use of angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs) did not improve clinical outcomes but worsened renal function in hypertensive patients with symptoms of heart failure treated with angiotENSin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors and beta-blockers.
