Summary
The aim of the present study is to infer phylogenetic relationships among its subordinate taxa by using plastidial rps16 intron and nuclear internal transcribed spacer DNA sequences; and evaluate the phylogenetic placement of the genus Petrocoptis within the family Caryophyllaceae.
