Summary
Oil absorbing graphene capsules are synthesized by capillary molding of graphene oxide sheets against a polystyrene bead template in evaporating aerosol droplets, followed by simultaneous reduction of GO and decomposition of the polymer template during ultrasonic spray pyrolysis.
