Summary
It is suggested that the necessity for quinolone prophylaxis in neutropenic patients should be determined based on local antibiotic resistance patterns, as well as the etiology and the resistance pattern of blood culture isolates and on the prognosis among febrile neutropic patients receiving chemotherapy.
