Summary
Three new polynuclear copper(II) complexes of singly deprotonated L-glutamic acid (L-glu), synthesized in acidic pH (ca. 2.5) and characterized structurally, shows a very rare example of the four-coordinate distorted tetrahedral geometry of Cu(II).
