Summary
Endothelium‐dependent relaxations are attributed to the release of various factors, such as nitric oxide, carbon monoxide, reactive oxygen species, adenosine, peptides and arachidonic acid metabolites derived from the cyclooxygenases, lipoxygen enzymes, and cytochrome P450 monooxygenase pathways.
