Environment-Induced Sudden Death of Entanglement

Summary
It is shown that, even when the environment-induced decay of each system is asymptotic, quantum entanglement may suddenly disappear, this “sudden death” constitutes yet another distinct and counterintuitive trait of entangled systems.
