Summary
A qualitative analytical method has been devised to locate nucleic acids in samples with amounts too small to detect by optical absorbance measurements, particularly useful for locating high molecular weight RNA of retraviruses in gradient fractions in which as little as 0.7 ng of RNA can be detected.
